Norfolk Makers Festival 2023: Contemporary Craft Lecture Series

The Norfolk Makers Festival is a free, annual event which brings together local artists, crafters and artisans — both professional and amateur — for a glorious celebration of creativity, personal expression and artistic collaboration.

For 2023 Festival, Common Threads Press will be producing the Contemporary Craft Lecture Series. This series brings together some of the most compelling curators, writers and academics working at the forefront of craft scholarship today. From the colonial legacy of the cotton industry to the political embroidery of Mary Queen of Scots, these lectures will move, inspire and enrich anyone interested in the captivating history of the needle and thread.

Produced by Laura Moseley, founder of Common Threads Press.
